VermiGold™ was founded by a group of professionals and agriculturists who have vast experience in commercial farming, worm farming and organic waste management and is a proud South Australian business. After using a similar worm extract product on our own farms, we saw first hand how it improved the soil microbial activity.
After encountering supply issues, we decided to create a product for our own use.
We spent more than 3 years establishing our worm farm and refining our products, ensuring we could create the best possible product. Laboratory testing exceeded our expectations, showing large numbers of a wide diversity of beneficial bacteria, fungi and other microbes in the worm liquid extract. After receiving such great results, we knew we couldn’t keep the product to ourselves and launched VermiGold™.
Located in South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, our worm farm produces commercial quantities of high-quality organic fertilisers and biostimulants suitable for use in the agriculture, horticulture, viticulture sectors as well as in your home garden. We have grown to become one of Australia’s largest commercial worm farms.
Through our unique vermicomposting process, we produce VermiGold™ Liquid Tonic, a high-quality biostimulant and VermiGold™ Castings, slow release fertiliser which is known as one of the richest natural fertilisers available. Both products are full of nutrients, living bacteria and fungi that are extremely beneficial for a range of commercial and at home applications. We also sell live worms for composting or for use as fishing bait.
